Needed this for tutoring after a bad move and sore back — couldn't do help. App was clunky and it punished tiny mistakes, which stressed me, but delivery of the workbook came early and support called back, surprisingly helpful.

Right in the middle of a chapter I get pulled away to do a heap of practice — at least six exercises a week, apparently. The interface feels like ticking boxes; the SmartScore just stalls and skips on without a real explain when you miss something. I run it after dinner to keep my kid on track, and at first I was sceptical, but it does force steady practice, it works.

I first stumbled onto this site because my kid's teacher suggested it, and yeah, at first it felt off — the so-called smart score seemed arbitrary and punished tiny mistakes. Using it is okay though; the lessons feel smooth and my kid kind of liked the bite-sized practice, even if the feedback was weird. I blocked a notification, then unblocked, then had to relearn what settings did. Not perfect, but in the end honestly glad it helped a bit, really.

That said, there was a surprise: the little diagnostics picked up a gap in decimals that I hadn't noticed, and a few targeted exercises actually helped him move past it. So it’s not totally useless, but the way it’s pushed on students (and on parents) makes it worse than it needs to be. If you homeschool, I’d be cautious about making it a staple; if you’re a teacher, think twice before assigning it as mandatory practice. Overall, honest: helps in spots, but the stress and repetitive feel are real. Could be okay if used sparingly and with teacher guidance.
