Daily test rhythm
Daily test rhythm
QualityMorning commute, headphones on, I run a listening test. The program feels organized. Short modules fit into work breaks. Lessons are practical, plenty of sample answers and timed tasks. Speaking drills are useful; staff corrects mistakes but not overbearing. It's a bit repetitive sometimes, still it helped me get into test mode and everyday life.
Quick access, pricey membership

PriceSpotted it on a coworker's Slack and, well, signed up to test it out. The study packs and lessons were delivered fast - email links and platform access right away. I messaged customer service once and got a same-day, concise reply; helpful, well—helpful enough. Tippped this to a friend. Still, membership seems a bit pricey, but overall delivery and support made it worthwhile mostly.

Timingschedule a live session early. Still could use better materials, but that save was real.
Mostly great teachers, shaky materials

Qualityengaging, funny, and Luca in particular made things click. But the handouts feel rushed, thin, and sometimes flat-out wrong (the "married couple" icon showing two women made me do a double take). Booking the same instructor is a pain — slots vanish fast. Compared to a different, smaller outfit I tried, their platform and materials were miles better. I started sceptical, ended mostly pleased, with some nagging improvements needed.
Not what I expected, but pretty great

Qualitythe dashboard is simple, lessons cover lots of useful vocab and idioms, and the teachers were clearly prepared (they give real, tailored feedback after every lesson, which I didn't expect but loved). Private classes fit my schedule, PDFs and follow-up exercises make review easy. Still a few tiny glitches, but overall I'm pleased and would recommend it.

Timingwould the schedule actually work with my odd hours (I live in Dubai), and would the tutors be people I could speak to, not just robots reading scripts? I’ve been burned before by cheaper apps that promised “live” classes and then fed me pre-recorded stuff, so I booked cautiously. The flexibility is genuinely helpful — there are lots of slots that fit evenings — and most teachers are good at explaining things. Still, popular classes can fill up fast (yes, I hit a fully booked wall more than once), so plan ahead. My strategy: try several teachers at the start — I tried four or five until I found someone I clicked with — then stick with that person. Also, focus on the skills you actually need; for me it was speaking and writing, not so much listening. Support was okay, not perfect, but decent. So, my initial worries mostly eased, though it’s not flawless. Worth trying if you don’t mind booking early and shopping around a bit.
