Pretty but fraying

Product

I actually liked the look at first — it’s flattering and the fabric feels smooth on skin. But the stitching started coming loose after the second wear. That’s the main problem. They advertise long-lasting gear, yet seams gave up very quickly, so the claim feels hollow. The size chart was confusing; it told me an L on top and S on bottom, so I just went with M for both and, weirdly, it fit okay. Not very sustainable either, lots of synthetic fibres and no clear sourcing. Delivery was on time and responses were polite, but for the price I expected a lot more.

Drawer full of favourites

Product

I was folding laundry this morning and paused because I realized half my drawer is Understatement stuff — weird, but true. The bras and panties just... sit right, soft where you want, firm where needed. I wear them under jeans, to the office, even lounging on weekends; material breathes and doesn't bunch up. Sizes have been honest for me (had that mismatch before with other brands), seams are neat, and the colours haven't faded after a few washes. Ordering felt easy, returns once were straightforward, and I've told some friends who now buy too — small habit, big win. Only thing I wish is that I'd found them earlier.

Bit annoyed but decent bras

Price

pay £50 import tax for two bras. From Sweden to the UK — really? That wasn’t on the site when I typed my address. The bras themselves are fine for everyday wear. Not perfect. One strap slips sometimes and the cups are a bit roomy, but they’re comfy enough. Maybe. Not sure.

Mid-day surprise

Product

I was halfway through my first day wearing the mesh bra when I actually noticed how comfortable it was. For someone with a smaller chest I’m picky — too much padding or weird seams and I bin it — but this one just sits right, breathable and kind of sleek under a tee. I got annoyed when the package arrived without a return label and the online form wouldn’t take my info, thought I’d be stuck, but customer support turned that around quickly and logged my returns for me. That moment, when they sorted it out and stayed friendly, is when I felt properly satisfied. I’ve been reaching for the bra for errands, work-from-home days and even short bike rides. Price makes me watchful about longevity, so holding a star back, but I’ll likely buy another.

Found my new go-to

Product

I first spotted these on a friend's Instagram story — she actually sent the link and said "try them" so I did. Took ages to arrive from Sweden to Canada, I stood patiently and yes, worth the wait. What sold me was the sizing chart — took two minutes to measure and it saved me from ordering my usual S (I’d have been swimming) — the M fits like it was made for me. The construction feels thought-through, like they paid attention to tiny details, and the photos with different models helped too; no weird Photoshop, which I appreciated. They're properly supportive after two years in maternity bras and, weirdly, also kind of sexy. Not perfect, but honestly very close overall. Told my sister and a coworker already, so, heads up if you see me bragging.

Mostly a win, but a bit fragile

Product

the waistband dug in on heavier days and after two or three cycles the mesh started to peel away from the main fabric. I messaged support, they were lovely and sent a replacement, but that one frayed sooner than I expected too. I still reach for them on lighter days because the fit is nice and the mesh detail is cute. Could be more durable, but I’d buy again.
