this is the best tracker we've tried for our cat. We've been using Tractive for about three years now, after cycling through four other options that were either expensive or just dropped off. I picked this up after Tractive bought out Whistle — I was annoyed at first and honestly just needed something that actually worked because my dog has a habit of bolting and I can't be chasing around (plus I’ve had bad luck with previous trackers). The app and device are simple, like really simple, and the moment I was genuinely relieved was when it located her during a short scare — quick fix, and I felt actually grateful. That said, the subscription is pricey, and the Dog 6 battery could be better — it drains faster than I hoped, even mostly on WiFi. Still, with Whistle gone, this is the most reliable option I’ve tried so far.
