I remember sitting in my car, kind of frustrated, and then the moment hit — the rep actually walked me through the warranty, admitted the earlier mix-up, and set up the pre-authorized claim right then. That’s when I relaxed and knew it was handled. I’ve had worse runarounds at other shops, so that mattered. Not flashy, just clear steps and follow-through. Still not perfect, but I’d give them another shot based on that fix. Price seemed fair and the pickup was on time, which I appreciated a lot.

Honestly, I was surprised — ended up satisfied, but not without a lot of eye-rolling first. They asked for an installation invoice and a tracking number; I installed the tires myself so I sent photos of them on our Yukon, since the delivery tracking was long gone. At first it felt like the usual rebate runaround — they even sent back the "fine print" after I complained, classic. I kept pushing, sent extra pics and an explanation, and eventually they processed the rebate. Would I do it again? Maybe, but next time I’ll weigh it against just driving to a local shop — they’ve handled rebates smoother before. Small win, lots of fuss.

Halfway down the block I remembered the truck and my keys were still at the shop — great start. A coworker had actually tipped me off about this place, said they were fast, so me and my wife cut dinner short and drove back. Then the texts and calls started, non-stop, which was annoying, and the assistant manager sat around an hour waiting for us to show up. After we paid it took another 45 minutes for the install. Weird process — seemed like they could've mounted the tires and let us sort payment when we returned. On the plus side, once they got to it the tech did a clean job; the ride feels smooth and solid. Annoying experience but the actual work held up.

Oddly enough, the first few weeks were fine — quiet ride, seemed like a solid buy. We ordered four tires from Tire Rack for my wife’s car earlier this year and at first I was actually relieved. Then one of the tires blew in under two months. We called Tire Rack, they told us to replace it and they would refund the purchase price. That sounded reasonable, so we got a replacement and sent in the receipt. What arrived was a cheque for the cost of the new tyre, which was lower than what we originally paid, and nothing toward the installation. So they effectively shorted us on the part and didn’t cover labour. I’m glad they did send something at least, but it’s frustrating and feels like they washed their hands of the rest. Not the service I expected, especially after only a couple of months.
