okay, mistakes happen. Then it kept happening. Knot after knot, I’d sit there with my stubborn, arthritis-prone fingers trying to tease a pendant free and thinking, “nope, this is not okay.” I returned items more than once and got the same sort of replacement — bag, knotted, sigh. Customer service would apologize, lots of polite sorrys, which, funnily, started to annoy me. Don’t just say sorry, fix it. That was my attitude. So I wrote back, again. This time I was clear: photos, “please send boxed”, and I asked for someone who could actually follow up with the warehouse. I didn’t expect much, but a manager called me — and that day is when I knew things were changing. They arranged to resend the items in proper boxes, offered to cover the return postage for the knotted pieces, and said they’d flag the packing team. When the new package showed up? Everything was boxed up neatly, necklaces untangled, tags in place. It felt like night and day. Not perfect — one chain still needed a tiny bit of adjustment — but I could actually hand these out as gifts without an awkward, “sorry it’s all in a bag” conversation. So my tone here is a bit sceptical-turned-relieved. I still think they could be more consistent; I’d tell anyone ordering multiple pieces to include a photo note if you need boxes, and don’t accept the first “sorry” as the end. Ask for escalation if it’s for a gift. Also, maybe they should improve inventory checks so they don’t run out of boxes in the first place. Overall: it took persistence, and I had to chase them, but once someone took ownership it was worth it. I appreciate that follow-through — small gesture but means a lot when you’ve been burned a few times. I hope they keep it up so others don’t have to nag to get decent packaging.
