Warranty road trip

Service

product worked fine but customer support sent me on a trip. I bought it online seven months ago and only noticed the defect recently. Tech confirmed it’s faulty and under warranty, but Shelby in customer support told me to drive an hour to a Chevy dealer that doesn’t even sell it. I emailed the receipt — annoying, but device works.

Clean fit, annoying EQ bug

Product

clean fit and responsive screen, seemed promising. But the equalizer kept snapping back to flat at random and FM reception was pretty poor. Tried support’s fixes twice — no luck. Ended up swapping in a Sony from another seller; that fixed everything. Not ideal, but hardware looked solid.

Little workhorse, honestly

Product

I wasn't expecting much after a previous dud, but this dolly surprised me — it's really solid, feels like it will last. Been using it every week to haul bags of soil and groceries from the car, packing was neat and the price felt fair. Took the edge off my stress; delivery was quick. Small scuff, no big deal.

Box looked promising, ride did not

Product

I ripped the shrink wrap off this big Horizon unit thinking “finally, fancy screen” — and then the fun stopped. The install instructions that came with it might as well have been in another language, and the YouTube walkthrough? Barely matching my dash. Half the gauges hooked up, half didn’t, TPMS was hit-or-miss and none of my four external cameras would wake up. I tried calling, texting and emailing — crickets aside from an auto-reply. Took it to a local installer who poked around and shrugged (which is never a good sign). After a week of fiddling, swearing softly, and reliving a previous bad experience with the same brand, I decided to pull it out and return it. Weird relief, honestly. Feels like decent hardware underneath but the product-support gap is huge. If you like tinkering and patience, maybe — otherwise, save yourself the headache.

Quick delivery, messy install

Hesitant but relieved

Service

Bought a big infotainment screen for my truck and, honestly, I almost didn't pull the trigger — wiring makes me nervous and past companies left me hanging. The instructions matched my model but skipped tiny details, so I rang tech support. Real people, US-based, knew their stuff and talked me through the quirks. Once installed it ran great. Not flawless, but glad I went for it.
