Almost didn’t buy them, then mixed feelings

Delivery

I almost didn’t pull the trigger because I’d worried about shipping — I needed three identical copies for a small get‑together and I kept thinking, “what if the package gets messed up?” That worry turned out to be justified. The finished books look great, really — the print and binding are lovely — but the whole delivery bit was messy. First box arrived empty, which was baffling, and they reprinted and sent replacements at no charge. When the second shipment showed up the box was open on both ends; luckily the books stayed inside that time. Because of the delay and the first lost package I had to print three PDFs at home so my friends wouldn’t be bookless at the party. That worked, but it wasn’t ideal. I appreciate the free reprint and the quick PDF access, and the product itself met my expectations, yet I was hoping for some sort of discount or small goodwill gesture for the hassle. If you care about reliable packaging, ask about reinforced packing first.

Two damaged copies, no reply

Communication

I wouldn’t recommend this as a gift right now. I ordered a book for Christmas and the first copy arrived with loose pages. I emailed them and got silence. Then a second copy showed up, which sounds promising, except it was damaged too — pages not glued properly and a bent front corner from the box. Delivery happened, yes, twice, but quality control clearly didn’t. I appreciate that they tried to replace it, but a simple response to my message would have gone a long way. I’m on hold — willing to change my mind if someone reaches out and sorts it. Preferably a refund so I can send both books back. If they fix it I’ll update and give a better review. For anyone else — maybe avoid buying as a present unless you’re prepared to inspect it right away. Small things like glued pages and decent boxing aren’t hard to get right. I don’t want to be harsh, but for the price this was disappointing. A quick email would fix most of it.

Coffee-table surprise

Communication

the book itself was nicer than I expected — solid paper, clean printing, the little details made us smile even though it showed up late. So yeah, great product, poor timing and sketchy communication. If you need it for a date, be cautious; honesty would’ve gone a long way.

Rush shipping? Not on my watch

Delivery

I wouldn’t trust their rush option if you actually need something on time. I ordered several books as Christmas presents, paid extra for "super rush" and was told they'd arrive early December. Fast forward: a "ready to ship" email, then radio silence. By Christmas Eve nothing had shown, and the only way to contact them was a web form — no phone, no timely replies. Then in January I got an empty box, which was the low point. Eventually they did reply, said they'd resend and would share tracking, but the tracking never came. To their credit, a package with two of the books did arrive later, which was a pleasant surprise, but I'm still missing items and the whole thing felt messy and confused. If you’re buying gifts, plan extra time or use a seller with clear tracking and a phone line. I wish they were better at communicating; that would have kept this from dragging on. Lesson learned: buyer beware, and keep receipts handy for disputes.
