Finally powered up — after a few bumps
Finally powered up — after a few bumps
DeliveryI actually spotted the replacement battery on a tech forum, a buddy nudged me to try iFixit since I wanted to DIY. The install went fine, so that was great — but the delivery was a mess. UPS tried to be helpful but didn’t ring the bell and the driver told me to pick it up, only to find iFixit hadn’t cleared pickup with them. Support was sloooow, I had to chase a few times. Still, the moment I saw my Pixel boot to 100% on its own again — that was the payoff. Not perfect, not seamless, and yeah I lost time, but the battery works and saved me a trip to a shop.
