Garage pick, shaky start but not a total loss
Garage pick, shaky start but not a total loss
App & Portalarrived on the promised day, well packed, no damage. That’s where the praise ends for a bit. Setup was clunky, the app wouldn’t fully pair with the grill even though Wi-Fi showed connected, and account confirmation just hung. I’m a network engineer by trade, so I don’t panic at tech hiccups, but this one felt avoidable. Customer support at first was slow and unhelpful — the rep escalated and said someone would call back in 24–48 hours. That call took longer than they promised, which was frustrating. After pushing, I did get through to a different agent who finally walked me through the right steps and got it stable. So — sceptical at first, annoyed in the middle, but reasonably satisfied in the end because the issue was fixed. Taste-wise, it didn’t quite match my other smokers, but that mattered less after the connectivity was sorted. Overall a mixed bag: delivery solid, support bumpy then competent.

ServiceI wouldn’t recommend this grill to my association — too many avoidable problems. I’m the condo association president and we’re trying to standardize on electric grills, so I ordered one to test it out. It showed up on time, which was the only thing going right, but when I opened the boxes the unit was already dinged, a wheel was missing and one accessory was cracked. I took photos, sent them right away, and expected a quick fix. Instead I got radio silence, then a promise of a callback that never came. I had to call back myself. They said they’d decide in 24–48 hours; 48 hours passed and now it’s another 24–48. So the reality is simple: the company shipped a damaged product and it’s taking far too long to be acknowledged. I paid about $1,300 for everything, so it’s not small change, and at this point the grill is unusable until resolved — I can’t even test it for the association. I’ve dealt with other vendors who swapped parts or sent a replacement next-day, so this slow back-and-forth is disappointing. That said, I’m glad no one was injured and that the damage seems cosmetic enough to repair, maybe, but still — that doesn’t excuse the delay or the missing piece. I’m mildly grateful the delivery timing was okay, and pleased the packaging wasn’t worse, but overall the experience makes me cautious. If you’re buying for a group or to use right away, be prepared for hassle and don’t count on fast customer service. I’ll update if they finally sort it out, but for now my recommendation to the other members is to look elsewhere until they prove they can handle issues promptly.
