Subscription experience
Subscription experience
ReliabilityI was pretty ticked off when I found out that even though I deleted my account months ago, there have been sneaky charges showing up on my account every month. It's really frustrating to see a company that's supposed to be all about education pulling shady moves like that. On top of that, their courses were nothing special, just run-of-the-mill. After my experience, I wouldn't feel right telling anyone to sign up for their subscription service.
Online course completion issue
Online course completion issue
ReliabilityI just finished taking a course online and had a problem getting my certificate. Even though I put in effort and money into the course, the system didn't recognize that I finished and wouldn't give me the certificate I deserved. It's super annoying to have no help or direction on how to fix this issue. Plus, canceling my membership was a huge hassle with tons of unnecessary steps and roadblocks. All in all, my experience was not great and I really recommend staying away from this platform. Just watch out.
Plus membership trial
Plus membership trial
ReliabilityCoursera has some really great expert-level courses that are hard to come by elsewhere, but there just aren't enough courses in that category. I figured I'd give the Plus membership trial a shot, and it's actually been pretty good so far. I'm thinking of sticking with it, but I am a bit nervous about the payment problems that lots of people have mentioned after the trial period.
Unauthorized charges
Unauthorized charges
ReliabilityI just wanted to share that I had some unexpected charges on my account for subscriptions that I didn't sign up for. I reached out to customer service, got a case number, but unfortunately, the problem persisted and I got charged again the next month. It was a hassle trying to get help and talk to someone about it. In the end, I had to change my credit card number to stop any more unauthorized charges.
