I clicked through from a pal's link and thought "weird" right away — within ten minutes my new account had dozens of likes and about 30 messages. Mostly botty, weird photos, people claiming different countries. You can't do much without paying. Oddly the UI was clean, though, to be honest.

Overall I'm really happy — surprised, even, so far. Profiles looked legit, chats were quick and friendly, and support actually followed up when I flagged something. Had one weird fake account, but they took care of it, unlike other sites I've tried. Small hiccup, otherwise smooth and reasonably priced, worth trying, I think.

Was mid-chat on my commute home when the account suddenly got flagged and locked — out of the blue, which made me tense since I use the app for evening chats with friends. I messaged support, sent a selfie and note; they unblocked me the same day and my conversations stayed intact. Annoying hiccup, but the quick fix turned my scepticism into relief.

I thought it was going to be a total scam, but the moment I got into real conversation during my commute I felt okay about it — relieved. I do see spammy profiles, and you can waste an afternoon unless you set rules (who to message, how long to wait, that sort of thing). Not brilliant, not awful. I use it for quick chats after work and it's fine.

Right in the middle of a slow swipe night I got a message that actually mattered — one of those short, clever replies that made me smile. That's when I figured this app is worth keeping. The little wink/message combo still helps start things, though you do wade through lazy profiles and the paid bits get old if you want to chat a lot. If they eased up on paywalls it'd be nicer, but for now it works.

try a small pack first and don’t get carried away. Glad I tried though, it wasn’t as bad as I feared.
