Blank card, big hassle
Honestly, the weirdest part was standing on my porch looking at a completely blank delivery card. I tried Homebase online for the first time because I needed one item quickly, and I placed the order on May 11 after being told it would arrive by May 13. When nothing showed up, customer service said I’d actually ordered on May 12 and that delivery was due May 14. I had the confirmation email right there, so that was pretty frustrating. I sent them proof, but it didn’t seem to change much. Then on May 14 I got an email saying the parcel had been left with a neighbour and that I should check the card. The card hadn’t even been pushed through the letterbox; it was sitting outside, blank, with no neighbour’s details at all. So I had to go knocking around to find my own order. Not a great first impression, and definitely not an online shop I’ll use again. Really disappointing, honestly, especially after all that back-and-forth.
