Looks nice, small letdown

Quality

My kitchen looked a bit brighter with those two pink grinders on the counter. They’re cute, I’ll give them that. I bought them for daily use — morning eggs, quick salads, a bit of cooking. Trouble is the chambers are tiny. You can’t put much in, so topping up becomes a chore, and the grind isn’t consistent; sometimes big flakes, sometimes barely anything. I raised it with customer service, and they did reply but it took days and the fix was basically 'sorry' — not great. On the plus side delivery was surprisingly quick and the packaging was neat, that was a nice surprise. Overall, pretty underwhelmed for the price, though they do look lovely on the shelf. I’d expect better performance for the cost, and I probably won’t reorder.

Looks green, website promised blue

Complaints

It's not the blue on the website. I ordered the Eau de Nil large pepper grinder because the product photos and description clearly show a calm blue, but the grinder that arrived is a pale green with not a hint of blue. I first spotted the item on the brand's official site and then showed the photo to a colleague who advised checking reseller listings — they do show the true green. I contacted support, they processed a refund eventually, which was fine, but they insist Eau de Nil is the green I received and won't admit the website picture is misleading. That's annoying and confusing. I liked the product otherwise, but colour accuracy matters.

Frames that fit

Quality

I almost ignored the shop when I first found it on a design blog, honestly — looked a bit too pretty to be real. I told my sister about it as a joke, then ended up ordering myself. I was skeptical about the colours and how the photos would sit, but the moment I slid the printed photos into the enamel frames and put them on the mantel I relaxed — they matched my blue-and-white setup exactly. They printed the photos for me (super handy), packaging was thoughtful, and delivery was quicker than I expected, which really sold me. Bought a pale blue, a deeper blue, a silver and a double silver frame. Not perfect — tiny scuff on one corner — but overall I’m really pleased and already told a couple friends.

Helpful but the lamps are shaky

Quality

their response was impressively quick every time. Polite, clear communication and fast shipping. I’ve had slow, unhelpful service from other places, so this was a pleasant surprise. I just wish the product build matched the support. Overall I’m grateful for the service, but wary about the product itself.

Shaky support, working light

Service

On the third night after the move I realised I’d made a gamble. The pictures online looked great. I needed a rechargeable light for quick trips to the basement because my back has been bad and bending is a pain. I hesitated because past brands let me down, but the design and the reviews pushed me to order. When the unit turned up it didn’t charge properly. That was annoying. I spent three weeks chasing a replacement. Eight calls, more than ten emails. Staff kept giving reasons — holidays, illness, family stuff — which honestly felt like excuses. It wore me down. Then Suzanne actually did what she said she would. She arranged the swap and followed up. It still took time, but at least it ended with a working light and less worry. I’m glad she was on it. So, mixed feelings. The product itself is fine. The service was a slog. Worth it in the end, mostly because of that single helpful person.
