Prescriptions and pharmacy services
Oh my goodness, this Walgreens is seriously the greatest! Ever since I started going to the one on Main Street, the pharmacy team has been absolutely amazing at handling my prescriptions and making sure my insurance is all good. Big shoutout to those two ladies who are always on the ball! And the other team members at the front are so friendly and helpful, even when it's crazy busy. I really appreciate that they hire people with disabilities too, everyone deserves a chance to work! Huge thank you to all the employees at this store, you all are fantastic!
I bought some cool stuff at the store
I went to the store and omg, the person working there was super friendly and helpful. They told me all about the stuff I was looking for and even suggested some things. The store was so clean and tidy, which I loved. I'll definitely be going back there again for sure!
Prescription medication
I can't believe how bold this pharmacy is acting! My doctor sent in a prescription and it was approved by both my doctor and my insurance. But these folks at the pharmacy have been dragging their feet for over a week, saying they need to talk to the doctor's office. It's just so crazy and not okay. I'm done with them and I hope they fail soon because they clearly can't handle their job.
Job application process
As a customer, my experience with Walgreens wasn't great. I was expecting a more traditional job application process - you know, a sit-down interview and some solo work like I've done before at other places. But surprise, surprise - Walgreens had me do the whole shebang online through a computer. And let me tell you, that was tough for me, especially with my Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The computer interview and all that competition threw me off a bit, not what I was ready for at all.
Medicine wait for 5 hours
Ugh, I went to this store thinking it was gonna be quick and easy to pick up my medicine, but I ended up waiting for a whole 5 hours! Can you believe it? I was supposed to start taking my medicine today, but now I have to wait until tomorrow. Not cool, Walgreens, not cool. I even asked the staff how much longer it would take, and they just said they were busy. Well, duh, I can see that, but come on, 5 hours is way too long!
Epipen of Lantus insulin
I ordered an Epipen and some Lantus insulin, and I was really surprised when I saw how much more I was charged than what I was originally told. Even though there was some confusion with Good Rx, I don't think it's right for customers to be overcharged because of a glitch in the system. I'm not happy with the lack of transparency and communication from the staff, so I don't think I'll be going back there.
Prescription refill
Hey there, I usually don't write reviews, but I really felt the need to talk about a bad experience I had with a pharmacist at the pharmacy. This particular colored male pharmacist was really rude and disrespectful during my last visit. He told me he wouldn't fill my prescription again in the future, which left me feeling really surprised and let down. That kind of behavior is just not okay in a professional place like that, and it definitely left me with a bad impression of the whole place.
Prescription auto-refill and mysterious charges
This pharmacy has really been a thorn in my side thanks to their annoying auto-refill antics. I keep getting these robot calls and emails telling me my prescription is all set, only to discover it's for a med I haven't taken in ages. The other day, I go on their app to snag some bandages, and lo and behold, they sneak in a refill, ship it out, and bill me for a script I picked up one time almost a year back and never touched again. To add insult to injury, they slap my credit card with a whopping $90 charge without even asking. And on top of that, they send my kid a letter claiming we owe $131.91, but don't bother explaining what it's for. I've tried speaking up and cutting ties with them, but they just keep brushing me off and racking up unnecessary bills.
Store manager experience
My time working as a store manager at this place was honestly a total nightmare. They just threw me into the position without much training and expected me to juggle a bunch of things at once. It was super frustrating because I didn't know much about the pharmacy side of things and always got asked to help out without a clue of what to do. The vibe within the team was toxic, with the cashiers disrespecting management left and right. I always felt like I was doing way too much for not enough credit, and the work just never seemed to stop. The lack of appreciation and recognition from the higher-ups made it impossible to feel good about what I was doing day in and day out.
Medicine purchase
Oh man, I had such a horrible time at that pharmacy. I went in to pick up my prescription and it felt like I was waiting forever. I swear, I could have grown a beard by the time it was my turn. And when I finally got up there, they were out of stock of my medication! Seriously, how do you not have something so essential ready for your customers? I am beyond frustrated, definitely not going back there again. Just awful.
Online order frustration
Walgreens really let me down again. I've tried ordering online 10 times now, but every time the same thing happens. They move my order to the local store, and they always end up taking out something because they don't have it in stock. It's so annoying because if they just shipped it to me, I'd get everything I ordered. And of course, it's always the thing I really wanted that they don't have. It feels like they're messing with our feelings on purpose. Honestly, it's such a waste of my time and money.
Prescription refill inquiry
I recently changed where I get my prescription and it didn't go well. The pharmacist I dealt with was really rude and unkind when I asked about my prescription. I was totally surprised by how rude they were and I won't go back there again.
Liquidation auction items
I was at this liquidation auction for stuff from a fancy retail store and let me tell you, the description they gave us was all wrong. The stuff I got was nothing like what they said it would be. It was super low quality and I couldn't even sell it. It's pretty shady that they're not being straight up with their customers. It's a letdown to see a store that used to be so well-respected doing stuff like this.
