    Priority Pass experience

    My experience with Priority Pass from American Express was not too great. Even though I'm a loyal customer who spends a lot, I had some problems when trying to use the service. Having to book several days ahead made it hard to make the most of the perks. When I contacted customer service about this, they didn't seem to care much. I thought a well-known company like American Express would have better customer service, but I was disappointed. Seems like I'm not the only one based on other reviews.

    Misleading Purchase Protection Policy

    I am so frustrated with the purchase protection policy from this company. They say they offer protection for purchases made in the last 90 days, but the policy is full of loopholes and restrictions. It's shady that they use Chubb insurance, which has a bad reputation. The policy doesn't cover purchases from reseller websites, purchases made outside of Canada, or purchases without a receipt, even if you have proof of payment. It feels like they're trying to scam us. I'm going to look into this more because it seems like many people have had the same issue.

    I ordered a cool new card to spend my hard-earned allowance on some sweet treats.

    Oh my goodness, this place is just awful! The chat support team was so rude and didn't even try to understand my issue. I felt completely ignored and like my problem didn't matter at all. It was honestly the worst experience I've ever had.

    Online purchase fail

    So, eh, I bought something online and it broke. And then, eh, the store closed so I had to use my credit card to get my money back. But then they were all like, "Nah, we can't help you because you used PayPal." Like, seriously, eh? So then I had to deal with them for two months, sending them the same info over and over again, even though they already knew what the deal was. Total waste of time and so annoying. Like, seriously, so disgraceful, eh.

    Recent credit limit reduction

    I just got an email saying that my credit limit was being cut by a lot right away. I've been with them for over 5 years, always paying on time and using my card for big purchases. It was a surprise and felt really unfair the way they did it.

    I just applied for a new business credit card and man, I was surprised by how little information and communication I got from them. So I got approved for the card, right? But then I had a bunch of transactions declined without any heads-up or explanation from the company. It took them forever, like six weeks, to finally tell me what my spending limit was, and guess what? It was $1000 less than what I had already spent on the card. Like, seriously? That lack of transparency and those sudden changes with no warning could really hurt any business, especially when you're trying to build a good reputation with clients and partners. It felt like they were trying to trick me into paying crazy high-interest rates and stop me from using the card out of the blue. This whole thing has definitely made me skeptical about trusting this company with my business finances going forward.

    Unauthorized transaction, late payment, poor customer service

    I had a really bad experience with customer service at this credit card company. I saw a charge I didn't make on my account, so I called to dispute it. The person I talked to didn't help me at all and even suggested that I was to blame for the unauthorized transaction. On top of that, I wasn't told about a missed payment and ended up with a late fee, even though I always pay on time.

    American Express card

    Man, American Express is the worst, eh? I thought getting this card would be so great, but it's totally terrible. I pay so much every year for it and for what? Their customer service is a joke, they never help you with anything! And my balance is always messed up. Can they not do simple math? I'm definitely cancelling this card, they don't deserve me and my awesomeness.

    As a customer of this bank, I gotta say, reaching out to customer service was a total nightmare. It seems like the folks answering the phones are based in countries like India, which led to a lack of reliable info. Whenever I called about activating my account, I got different answers each time. It was hard to trust what they were saying, and it left me pretty disappointed with the service. Businesses need to make sure their customer service reps are well-informed and trained to give consistent and accurate info to customers.

    Credit card application process

    I recently applied for a credit card and I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with the whole process. Even though my income and credit score were higher than before, my application kept getting put on hold. They asked me for all these extra documents and then out of nowhere, they just closed my account without even telling me why. It feels like they don't really have a clear way of approving people because some folks with shaky incomes get approved, but someone like me who's been responsible with their money gets denied.

    And to top it off, I got a letter saying I was in default and they issued a CCJ against me. That was completely not cool, especially when the person I talked to on the phone just said it was standard procedure and not a big deal.

    I had a terrible time dealing with American Express while trying to sort out a problem with a store that wouldn't give me a refund for some stuff I returned. Despite being a big company, their customer service was all over the place. Every time I got in touch with them, they told me different things and kept closing the case without helping me out. It was so frustrating and just plain awful.

    Credit card nightmare

    Omg, let me tell ya, that was hands down the worst credit card experience I've ever had! They thought they were doing me a solid by randomly bumping up my credit limit, but then BAM, they slashed it big time as soon as I actually started using it. And guess what? My credit score took a hit because of it! Can you believe that nonsense? I've always been on top of my payments and a faithful customer, but they treat me like I'm nothing. And don't even get me started on the crazy high APR and lack of rewards. It's just bad news bears all around. Ugh, I can't even deal with it!

    Travel cheque redemption process

    My experience trying to cash in my travel cheques was a total nightmare. I had to call customer service over and over again, but it seemed like they didn't care about my problem at all. I started to wonder if they even wanted to help me cash in my old cheques. All in all, it was a real pain and I'm left feeling pretty frustrated about it.
