Paring knife purchase
I recently bought a paring knife and noticed some stains on the blade after just one use, even though I regularly oil my knives. I was pretty disappointed about it. Surprisingly, within 24 hours, Garrett Wade got back to me and admitted that this wasn't a common issue and was probably a defect in the knife. They quickly offered to send me a new knife without needing me to return the old one. And within a week, I got the new blade, which I'm happy to say hasn't stained at all. I'm really impressed with Garrett Wade's dedication to making sure customers are happy and standing behind their products. Other companies should definitely take notes from them.

Insightful yet lacking startup metrics
The Information gives some really good insights into the tech industry, especially when it comes to the big players like the Magnificent 7 companies. But I find myself wanting more news about startups in the Series C range. The organization charts they have are usually out of date and could use some fresher info. Still, I really liked how they dive deep into different tech topics.

Monthly subscription purchase
I recently signed up for a monthly subscription, but had a bad time trying to cancel it. I got the subscription through a third-party site and wanted to cancel before getting charged again. Even though the platform confirmed my cancellation, I still got billed by the company. It was annoying to find out they said I had two subscriptions because I signed up on their site and then got the app from the third-party. Dealing with the credit card company to fight the charges was a pain, and it might make me switch to a different card to avoid this happening again.
