Replacement motor for 07 PT convertible
So, I had this issue with the motor in my 2007 PT convertible and needed a replacement. Called up the Chrysler dealer first, and they quoted me $800 for the replacement motor, which was a bit steep. They also mentioned that they stopped making them in 2017. Luckily, the parts department hooked me up with the part number just in case. Following their advice, I decided to look elsewhere for help and stumbled upon Just Answer. Signed up, got some detailed guidance on what to do, and even got some tips on finding knockoff Mopar parts. Thanks to them, I managed to snag the motor online for $104, saving me a good chunk of change. Now, I'm eagerly awaiting the delivery and planning to reach out to some repair pros in the morning for installation help.
