Payroll processing software
As a small business owner, I've been using the Homebase payroll software for more than a year now. The setup was a bit long, but we managed with the help of an outside company. The timeclock app for employees worked great, and as a boss, I liked being able to check timesheets and approve payroll each pay period. Direct deposit always worked well. But, the software made a mistake with one employee's withholding, causing them to owe state income taxes because the calculations were based on the wrong state. Homebase never noticed this error even after a few quarters. The basic service includes timeclock apps, direct deposit, tax withholding/remission, with extras like time off management and geo-fencing costing more. Direct deposits always went through smoothly, but the mistake has me thinking about changing to a different payroll system for the next tax year.

Account cancellation issue resolved by Eimy
I had a problem with my account getting cancelled out of nowhere by someone I never even talked to or met. It really bugged me and I had no clue what to do, so I gave customer service a ring to figure it out. Luckily, I got to chat with Eimy and she was a total superstar. She stayed calm while I was all wound up, kept it professional the whole time, and really came through in getting my account sorted out.
