Computers for businesses and homes
I've ordered computers multiple times since 2004 and it's always been amazing! Some folks think it's a scam, but that's not true at all. Amazon acquired them and I still received fantastic products. The items are always as described and they arrive on time. Woot doesn't offer overnight shipping like Amazon, but they're upfront about it. I've bought computers for both businesses and households, and they were in excellent condition for the price. Just keep in mind, they're refurbished so don't expect the same service as a regular retail store!
Shorts purchase
I just bought a 3 pack of shorts from Woot, but they were too big, eh. Even though the shorts didn't fit, I was really impressed with their customer service, eh. When I contacted them about swapping for a smaller size, they replied right away the next day, offering a full refund and letting me keep the shorts. They even gave me a $10 off coupon for the trouble, eh. Their customer service was top-notch and went above and beyond what I expected. I'll definitely keep shopping with them in the future, that's for sure, eh.
Coffee Maker purchase
Hey there, all you folks who love buying stuff online, I just have to share that when I bought a coffee maker from Woot recently, it was amazing. The price was just right, no used stuff, and it arrived super fast. I couldn't believe how quick it got to me! Who even drinks coffee that fast? Big shoutout to Woot for the speedy delivery, and let me tell you, the coffee maker itself is gorgeous. I keep admiring it all the time.
Refurbished tablet with missing keyboard
I ordered this tablet online, you know? It was supposed to have a keyboard included, but guess what? It wasn't in the package! So I contacted them and they replied really quickly, offering me a credit. I decided to ask for a little more, and they ended up giving me extra! That's awesome, eh?
Faulty robot vacuum; Lost out on $200
I bought a refurbished robot vacuum, thinking it would work great, but it turned out to be broken. When I asked for a return label, they sent me the wrong one for a different vacuum I bought before. I tried many times to explain the problem over two months, but it was never fixed, and I lost $200. Dealing with Woot and Amazon was frustrating, and it left me feeling disappointed. Not a good experience at all.
Misleading purchase
I got the wrong thing and it was in really bad shape. They only offered me a partial refund like that's supposed to fix everything. The service and product quality were just awful.
Tech Gadget
As someone who's into tech stuff, I was pretty stoked to buy the newest Tech Gadget from Woot. But man, I was super let down by how the website was so not user-friendly and helpful. I couldn't even make a Woot account and had to keep using my Amazon Prime info to try to log in, but it kept getting denied. I tried different browsers and clearing my history, but nothing worked. And then I couldn't even reach customer service because of the login problem. Amazon support didn't even know what Woot was, so they couldn't help me out at all. It was just really frustrating and I didn't end up finding a solution.
Missing pieces, bad customer service
I ordered something and it came with missing pieces. I tried calling customer service for help but couldn't get ahold of anyone. I'm pretty disappointed with the lack of assistance.
Used mobile device
I recently bought a used phone from Woot.com for my dad, who needed a new phone. It was supposed to be "fully unlocked," and since Woot is part of Amazon, I figured it was reliable. But when I tried to set it up with a Mint sim card, turns out it wasn't unlocked like they said. Mint told me I needed to contact the old carrier to unlock it, but I didn't have that info. I feel tricked by the false advertising, and I want a refund because I can't use the phone. The customer service wasn't great and the staff on the forums weren't helpful either, which just makes me even more disappointed.
Unauthorized payment attempt
I just found out someone tried to take money from my credit card without permission. I've never even heard of the company! Luckily, my bank caught it in time and nothing was actually taken. It's a total scam, targeting people who aren't paying attention. We all need to be super careful with our money and online payments.
Protein drink mix mix-up
I was so surprised by the mix-up that happened with my order from Woot. I ordered two pairs of shoes, but I ended up getting two cans of protein drink mix instead. How does that even happen, you know? When I contacted customer service to ask for a refund, they only refunded me for one pair of shoes. Dealing with the mistake was frustrating, and I didn't get the right solution I was looking for. So, I probably won't be ordering from Woot again for a while.
PC order, 2 day delivery
I ordered a PC and paid extra for 2-day shipping. Supposed to arrive on May 1st, 2024 at noon. But it's now the end of the 3rd day and still no package. Contacted customer support and they said it was delivered today. I've been home all day and no one from Woot came by. Starting to think I got scammed. Fortunately, paid with a Credit Card so I can dispute the payment. Thought Amazon Co. could deliver, but guess not. Lesson learned, will share with others!
Online purchase disappointment
I used to really enjoy shopping on that website for the awesome deals and the cool Bag O' C. But ever since it got bought out by some company, I've seen a drop in both the quality and the deals. It's pretty disappointing to see a site that used to be so great go downhill like that, eh?
Laptop and software
I bought a laptop and some software from this company. The laptop is awesome, no issues there. But man, the service was a letdown. It took them 2 weeks to send the laptop, even though they had lots in stock. And then, when I got the software, I had to wait another whole week for the serial number to come by email. Like seriously, it's 2021, why does it take so long?
Men's clothing
I recently bought some men's clothes from this website and man, I was so disappointed with the quality. They were supposed to be khaki pants, but the material was so cheap that they ripped after just one wash and shrank a ton. And to top it off, their return policy is brutal, making it tough for me to sort out my issues with the purchase. Honestly, I wouldn't suggest this website to anyone in search of good quality clothes.
