I had such a great time shopping at Monticello Shop. Small plants
I bought some small plants and I was really let down with how they looked. When they came, one was totally dead and the others looked half dead. I contacted customer service to ask for a refund or exchange, and I couldn't believe what they said. They told me to plant the sick plants anyways and wait 6 weeks to see if they improve. Why would I bother putting in time and energy on plants that are obviously not healthy? Their promise of full satisfaction is a joke. I won't be coming back as a customer for sure.

I recently bought some garden seeds and home decor stuff from Monticello Shop and honestly, I was pretty let down. The items were not up to par in terms of quality and didn't really live up to the historical reputation of the Monticello estate. The garden seeds didn't grow as expected and the home decor pieces looked kind of tacky and badly put together. I was hoping for better from a store connected to someone as famous as Thomas Jefferson.
Online order
I recently ordered online from this store and honestly, it was a huge letdown. They ended up canceling my order twice because of some technical glitch on their end, even though I gave them all the info they needed. When I tried talking to customer service about it, they didn't really do much to fix the problem and even tried calling me when I clearly said I couldn't do phone calls because of my disability. That kind of discrimination is just not cool and really shows that they don't care about their customers. On top of all that, their prices are way too high for what you get. I definitely wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone looking for a smooth and respectful shopping experience.
