What would it be like to have more control over your smartphone? It would most probably be amazing right? To be able to transfer files from the phone as you wish, tamper with the system files of your smartphone (if you are qualified to do so), or even increase the functionality of the phone by including features that were not resent in the phone originally. This, among many other reasons, is one of the advantages that come with owning a smartphone. However, you would find out that most of these features are mostly possible with smartphones that are running the Android OS. Although the iPhone is seen as a noteworthy rival, able to match the capability of smartphones that are running the Android OS; the tradeoff is that the users are limited in the various ways that they can modify their smartphones. Unlike Android phones, iPhones are made with a closed system OS, which locks the user out of any administrative functionality. As such, iPhone users are only left with the features that Apple left for them when they made these phones. However, there have been a lot of companies that have developed Apple approved mobile applications, and software that can help iPhone users obtain more functionality from their smartphones; and one of the software that provides such functionality is iMazing. But do they have a good track record?  Let's find out.

About iMazing
iMazing is software that was developed to aid iPhone users by software development company DigiDNA. Incorporated in 2008, this independent software developer is based in Geneva, Switzerland. Their first product was a file transfer tool for the iOS platform, known as DiskAid. And with the massive success recorded from the sales of DiskAid, DigiDNA has gone on to produce more software with increased functionality, one of which is iMazing. iMazing is the flagship product of DidiDNA and is purported to run not only on the latest iPhones but also on much older hardware, including those dating back to the days of the iPod classic (although the older versions of the iPhone might not be able to access all the functionality on iMazing). We suggest you read independent customer reviews of iMazing here to learn more about the company.

Services offered by iMazing
As software that claims to adhere to Apple’s core values of privacy, simplicity, and security; iMazing offers iPhone users, iPod users, and iPad users a method of managing their phones. And it does this by providing them with the functionality to safely back up their files on their MAC, or Windows PC. Users can back up everything from their text messages, WhatsApp messages, photos, ringtones, contacts on their phone, and a lot of other important information. The functionality provided by this software also allows users to transfer all the information on their old iPhones, to their new iPhones. iMazing does not require jailbreaking to work on the iPhone and is available in 11 languages. An enterprise version of iMazing is available for business owners that want to share the features of iMazing on several computer systems.
