About Honeytree Publishing
In 2008 while in Africa, artist and co-founder Lizbeth Holstein began battling homesickness by drawing things she missed. As her illustrations began to fill walls and rooms, her husband Sebastian decided that they must return home to share these therapeutic details with her home country. On their return, Lizbeth began by sending hand-drawn cards to her friends and family who soon became interested in buying some of her work. Sebastian recognised this demand and so Honeytree Publishing was born. The company understands the thought that goes into a hand-written message and aims to accompany this with an equally lovingly prepared illustration. Honeytree Publishing believes there should be no tension between convenience, luxury and thoughtfulness, recommending that personalised stationery should have a place in everyone’s life.
