If it is true that "knowledge is power" as Francis Bacon is quoted to have said, then, it is surely truer for people in the formative years of brain development. That is the best time to "catch them young" and made to acquire the knowledge that would empower them through a successful life. No doubt, this is the reason kids' education brands are flourishing around the world today. However, in matters as important as the early education of a child, parents and guardians need to be circumspect about making the right choice.  ABCmouse is a brand that advertises itself as the foremost online learning program for kids aged between 2 and 8 years. Is ABCmouse really worth it? How can it benefit your young child?

About ABCmouse
ABCmouse is a subsidiary brand of Age of Learning Inc with its headquarters in Glendale California but they offer to serve a worldwide client base. It is a subscription-based online learning platform targeted at kids between the ages of 2 and 8 inclusive. ABCmouse was founded in 2010 after its parent company Age of Learning had been incorporated in 2007 by Doug Dohring, a Scientologist. The company displays a couple of award plaques as proof that they have been among the best providers of education solutions to kids within the targeted age range. The awards include Mom's Choice Gold, Teachers' Choice Award, and Parent's Choice Gold. You should read independent customer reviews of ABCmouse here before considering visiting their website.

Products and Services of ABCmouse
The ABCmouse platform covers subjects like Reading and Language Arts, Math, Science (tagged 'The World Around Us') Art, and Colors. The platform also has a section for fun activities and tools such as animations, games, books, songs, puzzles, art, and printables. There is also a tool for tracking the learning progress of each child as well as for tickets and rewards for encouraging the child to learn more, customizable avatar, interactive zoo, aquarium, and an interactive farm. ABCmouse asserts that the platform supports over 10,000 fun and learning activities and covers up to 850 lessons across 10 levels. The subscription goes for $9.95 per month. However, the company offers the first month for free for those who would sign up with them. The learning platform is available on mobile apps for iOS and Android devices too and also on desktop and tablets. The company brags that their app was the most downloaded kids learning program on iOS and Android in the second quarter of 2020 that is, at the height of the COVID-19 breakout.
