Holiday cars available in all across the world with mojor cities . Me and my family have lot of vacations in differnt countries. Obviously, I can't have my car everywhere. and public transport or any other services get often complicated, time consuming or even sometime expensive. so I prefer holidaycars, these guygs are worth for the service, can have car for vacations, renting options are into great variety. Picking and dropping options are also cool. These guys help with lot of options and things as well.
Booked with an AmEx, but we were unable to rent car because rental company doesn't accept AmEx. HolidayCars won't issue refund. Not only that, but the rental car company drove us 10 minutes from the Lisbon airport and we were stranded with no other rental car companies around (the airport itself has a half dozen or so). My advice: don't use HolidayCars.com and use a rental car company with a physical location at the airport. We were duped.
I need to stop making the mistake of booking things through third parties, first and foremost.
I booked with Holiday Cars and after making the payment, received an email that the booking had an outstanding payment due, and I would receive the voucher after it was paid. Upon clicking the link, I found that the invoice was now for a different amount - and the outstanding amount was a couple of cents. They have a no cancellation policy, or rather, they charge 20 euros for cancellation -- so, now I was stuck with this booking, even though I did not agree to this contract,. Obviously, this is not about the money -- but, surely this is illegal!! I sent them an email regarding the issue, and they replied as any good robot would, simply stating that once I paid the outstanding balance I would receive my voucher.
At this point I was thoroughly annoyed. I will never use a third party booking agency again. What is their purpose anyway? They make money doing nothing, and it's the fools like us who give it to them.
