Organizing events
I've been using this platform for a while now to organize events in different locations and it's been pretty reliable. It's a safe site to post events for strangers and the verification process helps in distinguishing real accounts from fake ones. I've never had any major issues except for some occasional cookie problems that need to be addressed by the site. However, I do notice a lot of suspicious reviews on here from users who seem to have had negative experiences due to their own wrongdoing, not because of the platform itself. Trustpilot should definitely look into these reviews to ensure their credibility.
Networking event experience
As someone who goes to a lot of networking events, I gotta say, this one was a total letdown. It was full of people trying to pull a fast one on you or just sell you something for a buck. There wasn't any real conversations or connections happening, so it was hard to see the point in being there. Honestly, I wouldn't suggest this event to anyone who wants to actually network and make meaningful connections.
Difficulty with login process
The login process for this platform is so frustrating. I've tried entering my login info several times, but it keeps getting rejected. And when I try to reset my password, the system doesn't even send me the info I need. It's so annoying to be locked out of my account because of this messed up login system. Come on, get your act together!
Wasted Money on a Meet Up Subscription
Meet Up is the worst! I tried to cancel my membership, but they kept charging me even after I reached out so many times asking them to stop. Finally, after bombarding them with messages, they decided to give me a refund. Such a pain!
Event organization platform review
The event organization platform is way too expensive and the user interface is so clunky. It's not really worth it to organize events, especially since the pro version is just a waste of money. The basic app stuff like uploading photos and navigating group settings is so glitchy. The predictive writing feature keeps repeating stuff, which is annoying as heck. And trying to use bold and italics doesn't always work, it's so unreliable. Plus, push notifications and announcements are always messing up, so it's hard to communicate with group members. They really need to fix these basic things before adding any new features.
Subscription deception
Don't bother wasting your time or money on this service, eh. I signed up for a subscription, used it once, and then cancelled. Even after cancelling, they kept charging me for months, eh. I tried contacting customer service multiple times, and I even offered to help them with their service issues as a software engineer, but I got no response, eh. It's not just disappointing, I think it's almost criminal, eh. I'd recommend staying far away from this service, for sure.
Social platform review
I've noticed that this social platform ain't what it used to be back in the early 2000s. It used to be all about real connections and friendships, but now it's all about paid events and classes. The sense of authenticity and community has gone missing. It's sad to see words like meditation and shamanism being thrown around just to make a buck instead of bringing people together who are truly passionate about these practices. The customer service has gone downhill too, with hardly any real dedication to the community's welfare. It's clear that the platform has lost its way from what it was meant to be.
Group organizing platform
The group organization platform has so much potential, but it's just not cutting it because of all the technical problems and the lousy customer service. As someone who runs a group on there, I've run into a ton of issues trying to plan events and keep my group organized. The site is always acting up, with features that don't work like they should. And don't even get me started on the customer support - they're basically MIA, taking forever to respond and giving unhelpful advice like clearing the cache, which never fixes anything. It's super frustrating relying on a platform that's so unreliable and doesn't give enough support to its users.
Nightmare subscription
Oh man, let me tell you about this company I dealt with recently. It was a total disaster, eh. Their customer service is a complete joke, seriously! Trying to cancel my subscription was like climbing a mountain, they made it so intentionally difficult. I kept trying to cancel, but they just kept billing me. It's a total scam, eh. My advice? Get outta there as fast as you can and make sure ya tell everyone about their terrible service, eh.
Meetup registration and notification settings
I just joined Meetup and I'm having some trouble getting notifications from the groups I'm in. I've tried to figure it out myself and even asked customer service for help, but I'm still not getting a clear answer to my question. It's frustrating because I don't want to miss out on any updates from the groups I like.
Pro subscription cancellation
Oh man, what a nightmare! So I had no problem signing up for that Pro subscription, but when I tried to cancel it, it was a total pain. Couldn't find an option to cancel anywhere on the website, no clue on what to do next. After some searching, I figured out I had to shoot them an email to cancel. Like, seriously? Can we talk about sketchy business moves here?
Event organization tool
Meeting up on Meetup has been such a headache for our charity events. The Mailchimp sync always seems to be on the fritz, the customer service is not much help and takes forever to respond, and don't even get me started on the wonky calendar that can't seem to get the right days for events. Dealing with all these problems is just plain frustrating, especially when we're trying to organize events for a good cause. I definitely wouldn't suggest Meetup to anyone in need of a reliable tool for event organization.
