Genealogy records
I was so happy to discover how easy it was to access the genealogy records on this site and how much useful info I found about my ancestors. The census scans really helped me get a better idea of their lives, which was pretty cool. I loved seeing the actual old documents, it really made me feel connected to my family history. The newspaper section was also great for learning more about their lives. But, I was a bit let down that there weren't many scans of parish marriage registers, especially for those in London. Despite that, I thought the search function was easy to use and I had no trouble navigating the site. Oh, and a helpful hint for anyone using this site - try different spellings when you're searching, since lots of folks in the old days weren't great spellers.

My experience with this genealogy research subscription has been pretty good so far. The more I use it, the more I get the hang of entering data and moving around the different features. The hints I get as my family tree grows have been really useful in finding new details and connections. I was pleasantly surprised by the special hints for ancestors from five generations ago, which is something other genealogy websites don't have. It made the whole experience more fun and satisfying. In general, I've seen a big boost in how comfortable and confident I am with using this service since I first started.

Oh man, this website is really awesome! It's way better than any other site I've used to research my family history. Now it's at the top of my list when it comes to spending my money on genealogy stuff. I love that if I see a mistake, I can let them know - I come across a lot of those when digging into my family tree. They show me records that I can't find anywhere else, and that's just amazing. With all the records they have, I've been able to figure out some things I couldn't before.

I've been around here for a while, and I haven't really seen anything new lately. I think the cost of the subscription is just a bit too much, so I'm checking out some other websites to see what they offer for both price and content. But hey, keep doing what you're doing! Great job, though.

I had a tough time figuring out how to get going with this app. I think it would've been helpful to have live chat support to guide me and see if it was a good fit. It was hard to tell if I was doing things right and if it was worth spending my time on.

I had sent an email to customer service at first with some questions, but because of the time difference between the US and UK, I figured I should give them a call during UK office hours. I was happy to find out that I was connected to a call center in Scotland, and a lovely young woman helped me out with top-notch customer service. She really knew her stuff about the products and services, plus she was friendly and had a good sense of humour. It definitely made my interaction with them a pleasant one.
Wide variety of images
I really like all the different image documents on the website - it's so interesting to dive into historical records and learn more about the past. But I do find it tough to make a proper citation with the limited info provided. It would be great to get access to the source material for better referencing.
Newbie review on family tree website
I just started using this new family tree website and I gotta say, it's a bit confusing for me. Like, why can't I change the background color of the tree or make the names stand out more? And seriously, why can't I just click on a line to shrink the tree branches? It's like I'm stuck in this never-ending maze of family members.
