First month's free trial signup
I signed up for the first month's free trial but got charged anyways, even though it was supposed to be free. I sent an email to customer service but didn't hear back for over 5 days, not even an automated response. It was really frustrating! Thankfully, I decided to give them a call and got an immediate response. The person on the phone was really friendly and helpful. They were able to fix part of the issue and directed me to someone who could help with the rest. The lady I spoke to was very professional and pleasant. Now, I'm updating my review because of the excellent customer service.
Trial period disappointment
The trial period was good to try out the platform, but it didn't measure up to other digital book apps I've used like Audible, Barnes & Noble, and my local library's app. This one was the worst. Not being able to change the speed of playback was a total deal-breaker for me because I really need that feature when listening to audiobooks. Just 1x speed was painful and made it hard for me to enjoy. Even though the trial was helpful, I've decided not to renew my membership for now.
Audiobook subscription
I was actually pretty impressed with how easy it was to sign up for the audiobook subscription. The website was super easy to navigate, and I had no trouble finding and choosing titles that caught my interest. The 30-day free trial and reasonable monthly fee were the icing on the cake for me, and it made the whole thing a really good experience. I would definitely suggest it to anyone who wants a cost-effective and convenient way to get their hands on a broad range of audiobooks.
Pastor's gift
My pastor sent me an audiobook to listen to during the service, eh. I was able to buy it using my Amazon account, which made everything easier and more dependable. I listened to the audiobook a few times and finished it in three days. I used my Amazon login each time to keep listening. Maybe it wasn't the right way, but it worked for me. Because of my reading disability, audiobooks are a better choice for me, you know.
Account setup and navigation
I gotta say, I was really impressed by how easy it was to set up my account and find the perfect audiobooks for me using the app. It was super smooth and made the whole experience fun right from the beginning. Being able to customize how I listened to the books made me even more satisfied with the service. Audiobooks has definitely made it simple for people to access and enjoy all kinds of content.
Audiobooks subscription expectations
I just got a subscription to Audiobooks thinking I'd have lots of books to listen to. But turns out, I not only had to pay for the subscription, but also for each book I wanted to listen to. They should have told me about this before I signed up. If I had known, I wouldn't have subscribed. Now I'm super disappointed and frustrated with the whole thing.
Audiobooks from the online store
I'm really happy with the audiobooks I bought online recently. There are so many different ones to choose from, which is great. But I have to admit, at first, I found the app a bit tricky to use. It wasn't very easy to find the specific books I was looking for. But after spending some time playing around with it, I eventually figured out how to get to the ones I wanted.
Got some cool audiobooks
I found these really great audiobooks here, and honestly, they were amazing. The variety was awesome and being able to listen at different speeds was a nice feature. I know you can do that on another site, but the price here was much better. And the best part, no issues with downloading or anything. It was a great experience overall.
Audiobook App
I just started using the Audiobook app and the one thing I would like is a chapter menu. It would make it a lot easier to skip to a certain chapter instead of always having to go back to find where I was. Besides that, my experience with audiobooks has been pretty good as a newbie.
Great sleep timer, easy to understand narrators
This place is great for listening to audiobooks at night before going to sleep. The sleep timer is amazing - now I can unwind without stressing about turning off my phone. The narrators are really clear and calming, which helps me drift off easily.
Signed up for free trial
I had some trouble signing up for the free trial, but the person I chatted with in the app was super helpful and fixed the issue when they got back to me. The layout is a bit different from what I'm used to, but hopefully it grows on me.
Audiobooks are lit!
We all know I love holding an actual book, but now that I gotta drive to work, audiobooks are the bomb! It's so easy to use and I've listened to way more books than I could ever read!
Audiobooks app
I haven't really had a chance to try out the main function of the app yet. I mistakenly used my credits to buy audiobooks and now I'm waiting to hear back from customer service. I think it's because I contacted them over the weekend and they're probably not working right now. But I'm sure I'll get some help soon. I think it would be helpful if they let you know when a title is offered as a VIP title before you use your own credits to buy it. The two credit systems are different, so I would have made different choices if I had known about this. Thanks a lot!
