The wedding resource site has been super helpful for us ever since we started our business. The team behind it really cares about their customers and partners, which makes working with them a pleasure. Hotel booking cost
Let me tell ya, eh, don't use this app for booking hotels, eh. I booked my hotel on The Knot, eh, and I ended up forkin' out over $250 more for 2 nights than if I'd just booked directly with the hotel, eh. And get this, the cancellation policy was all muddy – it said I might have to pay a penalty, but turns out that penalty was the cost of one night's stay! I was pretty cheesed off about the lack of clear info and ended up with a big bill because of it, eh.
Wedding planner services
I had a terrible time with those online wedding planning services. I spent a good chunk of cash on their site only to get fake leads. I tried reaching out to those leads but none of them ever got back to me. And when I asked customer service for help, all they said was to spend more money for better results. It was such a waste of both time and money.
Fake leads created with my email
So, hey! My email got a bunch of strange messages from photographers assuming I was tying the knot or something. I had to switch up the password and ditch the account, and then another one showed up with a phony last name and a bogus fiancé. Seriously, like, what's up with that? I reached out to customer support and they were all like, "Nah, it's legit," but come on, let's be real, it totally wasn't. Just a heads up, folks!
Engagement party dress purchase
I bought a dress for my engagement party from The Knot not too long ago. I waited for two weeks without hearing anything about the shipping. I tried contacting them through email, WhatsApp, and Instagram a few times to see what was going on. I told them how important it was for me to get an update on my order, but sadly, they never got back to me. To add to the frustration, when I commented on one of their posts about how annoyed I was, they not only deleted my comment but even blocked me from their account. This has definitely been the most terrible customer service I've ever experienced.
Hotel reservation cancellation issue
So, I gotta tell ya about this rough time I had with a hotel booking on this big wedding website. Booked a room for a wedding, then saw I got charged extra for some fees that didn't make sense. Even though I canceled early, they only gave me a voucher for a stay at another hotel within a tight deadline, and I couldn't make it work.
Vendor subscription
This company is totally fake. They lure you in with lies and once they have your money, they vanish. There's no customer support at all. The prices are way too high, especially considering the lack of vendor support. They keep important info hidden until after they take your money, making you feel cheated. It's hard to get a hold of the reps and they're no help with any problems. The leads they promise don't even exist or are fake. Stay away from this company no matter what.
Wedding website platform
The wedding website we used for our guests to get info about our wedding and RSVP was a letdown. Our guests thought it was okay, but we as the couple had a hard time with the confusing layout. It was tough to use, especially on a phone, and just not very user-friendly. Plus, the accommodation templates page sent guests to an American booking site, which was confusing for anyone trying to book through our site. I wouldn't suggest using this platform, especially if you're not in the US.
My awful experience
I can't believe how bad their company is. They keep switching up who I'm dealing with and none of them are helpful. The leads they provide are no good and I've even had scammers reach out to me! They won't even refund my money when I try to cancel. I swear I'm never going back to them!
Wedding planning assistance
The Knot is deleting negative reviews without even checking them. We had a really bad experience with a company and we wrote a review to share our feelings about it. But The Knot removed our review without asking us first. We had proof in the form of receipts and emails to back up what we said, but they still took it down. It seems like The Knot only cares about showing good reviews, which is really frustrating for people who need honest feedback.
Event venue review
As a customer of The Knot, I really want to stress how important it is to have real and honest reviews on their site. Just the other day, I wrote a review about a venue where my mom's birthday party was held. But then, The Knot went and deleted my review and asked me for a copy of the invoice to prove it. Even after I sent them the invoice, my review still got removed. This makes me question how trustworthy the reviews on their site really are. Customers should be able to share their honest experiences without worrying about being censored or manipulated.
Wedding website
It was so frustrating and annoying to use this website. You couldn't even double-check the messages you sent, so everyone was confused about whether they were invited to the wedding or just the shower. And you couldn't even customize the homepage, which caused big problems with our Amazon registry. And the character limit made it tough to share all our wedding details! It was just a bad experience all around.
