Online certification course
I’ve been a customer of this online course provider for about 4 years now, mainly taking a 120-hour Teaching English as a Second Language course. I found the course super convenient and easy to access, plus it was jam-packed with helpful info and well-organized. I work as a tutor in the UK, so meeting certification requirements was a must, and this course helped me reach that goal. The online setup let me tackle the course at my own speed, squeezing it in around my hectic schedule. After finishing up, I got a certificate that met the continuing education needs for my teaching job in Illinois. Becoming a lifetime member of this platform was definitely worth it, 'cause now I can pick from a bunch of courses whenever I feel like it.
TEFL certificate purchase
I just got myself a TEFL certificate from the International Open Academy to help with my visa application. Unfortunately, I made a mistake which caused some issues. But I have to say, the folks who give out the certificates were amazing. I was in touch with them pretty much every day for a couple of weeks and they were super helpful. Judith from the client department was really on the ball and so professional. Without her help, I would have had a tough time staying in the country. All in all, I'm really happy with the service and I'll definitely go back to them in the future.
TESOL course keywords
So, eh, that TESOL course was pretty good, you know? It didn't cost too much, and you learn a lot in those 120 hours. You gotta really put in the effort and not just skim through the material and do the tests. But, like, if you've never taught before, this course won't automatically make you a pro. There aren't any videos or actual teaching practice, so you gotta go out there and volunteer to get some real experience. However, having this certificate does improve your chances of getting job interviews, so that's pretty sweet, eh.

The course was pretty good, eh? I learned a lot, but there were some things that could be better. Sometimes the person giving the course talked way too fast and jumped around a lot, which made it hard to follow. Also, I didn't agree with some of the answers on the exam, especially the one about visual strategy. The course could also use more detailed instructions. Oh, and it's important to remember to be aware of accents when teaching, eh? It can make a difference in how people from different cultures understand the information.

Varied courses, current content
The classes they offer are pretty cool and really grab your attention with the perfect amount of info. But, the whole certification thing seems a bit too money-focused. It's annoying to have to fork out more cash just to prove you finished the course you already paid for. These classes could really help with job prospects, so getting the right recognition is key.

The deadline getting pushed back gave me more time to really take in all the information and make some good notes. It made learning a lot easier. I had some troubles trying to redeem an IT bundle I bought from a different website. So, I contacted International Open Academy for help and they quickly fixed the problem. I was really happy with their customer service, especially Bruno who was super helpful. Even though I haven't started the courses yet, I know I'll have a good experience because of how well they helped me out.
Lifetime TESOL course
I recently signed up for the Lifetime TESOL course at International Open Academy and to be honest, I was pretty let down. When I first enrolled, they were offering a deep dive into language structure, phonemes, dipthongs, IPA, and even how the mouth works in relation to language. But after they revamped the course, it really went downhill. The new material is way too basic, only touching on class management and basic sentence structure and grammar. I felt like I was missing out on a solid TESOL education. Sure, I got a certificate in the end, but it didn't feel like I gained the expertise and knowledge I was hoping for. All in all, it was a letdown.
